Probably the worse experience I’ve ever seen from an apartment complex. Throughout my year there through storms that took out the lights for over a week they never aided in any way for the lost groceries or time where we couldn’t even access the building. When my fridge broke it took over 1 week to get a new one and lost all my groceries again. Upon moving they completely overcharged all “damages” that were already marked upon getting my keys as previous damage. Never available to communicate or call. Everyone I spoke to that lives within agrees on their lack of care and money hungry attitude towards residents. Over priced for the area and claim luxury for having a couch in the lobby.

DO NOT RENT HERE
I had a terrible experience as a tenant at My Place Group’s 41 West property. During a 4-day power outage, they offered no alternative housing, and the emergency lights in the building stopped working, creating unsafe conditions. All my food went bad, and my renter’s insurance didn’t cover the loss.
After moving out in November, it took over six weeks to hear about my security deposit. They deducted charges for a stove I never used, cleaning cabinets I had already cleaned, and repainting small spots on the walls where I had hung items. The charges were excessive, and communication was poor throughout my tenancy.
I do not recommend renting from My Place Group.

Great building and staff
The location is perfect and I don’t want to move any time soon.
Any time there are problems with the building, management has been quick to address them. It is clear they care about the common areas but the roof deck needs more attention. Maintanence is fairly quick for in-unit requests.

Awful Management
I have been calling the office and property managers for weeks now and have not heard back. They are charging my resident portal hundreds of dollars AFTER I MOVED OUT almost a month ago and will not tell me what the charges are for.
