I moved into one of their buildings in October 2025. Let me say this is NOT my first time living in an apartment building. This place is VERY loud. You can hear everything. I was able to hear my neighbors talking (when they were talking loudly), putting dishes away, walking, opening / locking their door. The walls on this units are very thin and NOT insulated. It was non stop noise all day long. When repairs were being done by contractors they were there into late evening / night hours. The management team has no clue what is happening in their own buildings. I moved into a NEWLY RENOVATED apartment. I had repairs done on a weekly basis it seems I always had to be home for something. The shower leaked since day 1, water all over the bathroom floor. They never fixed it. The shelf in the close consistently broke, water leaking in from the outside at bedroom window. It was too much there to deal with, so much so that I was let out of my lease without penalties. I must say that YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE IT!! This is not apartment living. There are state and other regulations against noise. If it wasn’t an issue they would never come up with these laws. I live in a different apartment building now not too far away. I have quiet. There is no noise all day and night. When I went to get my refund, THEY TRIED TO STEAL MY MONEY AND KEEP THE ADDITIONAL RENT I PAID. I had to contact management and tell them to pay me the additional money they owe me. I would definitely stay away.
Property Manager Responded: We’re genuinely sorry that your time in the community did not meet your expectations. Our team works hard to support our residents, and in this case we made repeated efforts to address the concerns you raised — including scheduling and completing multiple service visits, coordinating access around your availability, and investigating noise issues in accordance with building standards and local regulations. We strive to be responsive and solution-oriented, even when situations are challenging. We agree, noise ordinances are there for a reason, and we expect all our tenants to follow their directives. Though it's imperative that people realize that normal movement as part of apartment living does not fall under these regulations and a certain amount of flexibility is required when living in a multi-family building. Additionally, certain water issues are inevitable due to condensation formed when there's cold air outside and warm air inside. As much as we'd like to stop it, we can't fight nature. The same was for every issue you mentioned, we dealt with it, or at least tried our best to within the parameters you set. Unfortunately we couldn't manage to satisfy you despite our best efforts. Regarding your refund, there was a brief administrative discrepancy after your move-out. Once it was identified, it was promptly corrected and the full amount owed was returned. There was never any intent to withhold funds. While we regret that we were unable to reach a resolution that felt satisfactory to you, we acted in good faith and made every reasonable effort to help above and beyond the typical. We truly wish you the best in your new home, and hope you'll find peace and happiness there.

My son and I moved in under previous management. I admit, I was nervous because when buildings are bought/ sold, things are subject to change. I will say, the change was a great one. The company really made an effort to modernize the facility. It’s well on its way to becoming updated. Even with the updates, I liked the charm of my 2bdrm garden apartment. It was the perfect space! The master bedroom was huge, and the second bedroom was just right for my son. The area was quiet and clean!! Huntington Green is centrally located. So, whether you’re from the city or not, you can get to where you’re going quickly. Currently, I am apartment hunting in another city. I can only hope to find another little gem like Huntington Green.

I Do not recommend!! Moved into a 2bedroom unit in the garden apartments building D , I found live and dead roaches within the first 24hrs. Lived in the unit under 90days and was still seeing them prior to move out. They were in my unit bathroom, kitchen (on the counter, in cabinets and found on appliances) and seen in the bedroom. Also noticed them in the washer and dryer room on main floor (not the ground floor), so the issue is with the entire building or a tenant in a section that is trifflin 24/7. As someone with experience in real estate this property and management is SLOPPY! I will say though that management was responsive and I was able to get out of my lease. However, overall the units in that building are overpriced. It looks like they are trying to work in the buildings but the work done is not good. They had to come into my unit several times to fix something or replace something all within the 60 days I lived at the property. Even when it was replaced it still was not proper. For example: - the circuit breaker box was replaced but they left the old one and there were still holes in the dry wall around the old one until the day I moved. Allegedly it was due to maintenance men being out sick, but for 90days? - I had to argue for them to give me a new A/C because it did not work. It was obvious. - They also did plumbing work but the pipes in the kitchen and bathroom were still leaking after the work was done. - When I moved in I immediately had to put in several maintenance requests because ceiling fans were broke and needed replaced. The closet doors also were not on the hinges. - main hallways consistently smelled like overrun trash Keep in mind I was only able to tour this unit two weeks before move in and was guaranteed by a leasing agent the unit would be ready. However, the unit I moved into not only had incomplete work but baby roaches for $1,100 something a month. Which was really annoying seeing as though I paid my security deposit months prior. Dealing with some individuals in the office can be really annoying. So do not be shocked by poor customer service moments. I REALLY want my 90days of rent back. With all that being said please lookout for your self or your loved ones and proceed with caution OR not at all at this property

If I could have moved out of state with my apartment, I would have! I lived here for 2 years, and it was the best part of living in University Heights for me. Any maintenance issues were dealt with promptly, and I appreciated having the locker system for packages so I could pick up my packages however late I got home. I was lucky to have found this apartment complex!
