I lived in Innova for 3.5 years, and the quality of the apartment complex significantly decreased since management changed last year. I terminated my lease halfway through and moved to a different place. The elevators are constantly broken, the A/C is shut off during the winter and the apartments are extremely hot. The security is poor, as the parking garage is open for anyone to walk into, and there is a public parking lot behind the building that frequently attracts young people that shout and... play loud music at night. While the maintenance and concierge staff were always cordial, the new leasing managers are unprofessional and disrespectful. 10/10 do not recommend.

Lived here for 2 years- management never followed up on any issues I had. When some of my belongings were stolen by their furniture rental partners (CORT Furniture) under their watch (they signed off on paperwork without making sure my personal things were not taken from my apartment), their response was “I don’t know what to tell you, sorry”. They promised they’d follow up, and I never heard anything from them. Additionally, notice that they respond to every poor review on here with some sort... of passive aggressive comment - pretty telling. Everyone at Concierge (with the exception of Jeriah) was annoyed whenever asking to pick up a package or get an overnight parking pass. I truly felt like I was bothering them any time I needed something. Daytime parking for guests cost a lot of money especially over time. If you miss parking payment by minutes, you’ll receive a sticker on your window that’s very difficult to remove and leaves a bad residue. The only reason I stayed for so long was because of school. As soon as I graduated, I was out. I have never written a poor review for anything before, but living here has compelled me to warn others because I wish someone had said something before I decided to live here. Move out to the west suburbs, you’ll get a lot more for your money, it’s much safer, there’s a lot more to do, and you’ll receive better management.

I've lived at Innova for 2.5 years now. With any apartment complex, there are pros and cons, but at Innova, the pros far outweigh the cons. The building is a perfect location for Cleveland Clinic, the VA, University Hospitals, and Case Western. Even Metro Health is a short drive (10-15 minutes tops). It’s always clean and never noisy (being on call overnight means sometimes I have to sleep during the day and it’s incredibly quiet). My next door neighbor had a piano in her apartment for a year... and I had no idea until she moved out. The staff are friendly and they’ve responded to all my maintenance requests very quickly (most in the same day). After internet, parking, and rent, yes, Innova is expensive…but if you shop around the area you will find that most, if not all apartments that are similar in style, amenities, and modernity, will be similarly priced.
A majority of the tenants are young professionals who are here for residency/fellowship/other graduate programs. Everyone I’ve run into is respectful and friendly. The Innova sky deck with fire pits and TV’s is very relaxing on a nice evening. The gym is clean and very modern. I have a small dog and the concierge service is extremely helpful in walking him if I’m stuck at work late one night. Location wise, you are a 12 minute walk to UH Hospital, CCF is across the street (can’t beat that), and the Art Museum, Uptown area, and Little Italy are all within walking distance (less than 25 minute walk to little Italy). An Uber from the apartment to the airport is on average $20-25 and from the apartment to downtown is around $7-8.
They are completing construction on additions to Innova, Cleveland Clinic’s Medical school building, and the Case Western Dental School, so the only con I can think of is construction. But if you’re gone for work most of the day then it won’t matter to you. You can still get in and out easily and I’m rarely inconvenienced by it.
I’ve never had a bad experience here. I’ve walked my dog at all hours of the night and I feel safe. Like any city, there are good and bad areas. Just be smart about what you’re doing. I’ve looked at A LOT of apartments around Cleveland and Innova, while pricey, is worth it at the end of the day. I’ve chosen to renew my lease here twice now and I don’t regret it. They even had a promotional code for hospital residents when applying to Innova to save money! Use it!... "UH2018SS"

Avoid at all costs. Read the reviews all over the internet about how this place really us and be weary of reviews that sound too good to be true. They are.

I have been fortunate to call Innova home since August 2015. The beautiful building, incredible amenities and superb concierge staff makes this not only a great place to live, but one that makes you feel special and spoiled! Pet friendly, immaculate and safe/secure, this building is located near world-class educational and health care institutions with local shopping and arts/entertainment venues easily accessible. Friendly, attentive and responsive management is also a great asset. Do... yourself a favor and put Innova at the top of your list, you will look long and hard to find a place that has more to offer.
