One of the most frustrating aspects of dealing with the management company, Brick and Mortar, is their recurring failure to prepare for predictable seasonal weather changes. Every summer, residents are forced to endure uncomfortable conditions because the air conditioning is not turned on until late June, even when temperatures have already become excessively hot. Similarly, during the transition into winter, heating issues often arise when the weather turns cold.
Management consistently attributes these problems to unexpected technical issues. However, what is truly puzzling is that they seem surprised by the arrival of summer and winter every year, as if these seasons are occurring for the first time. Seasonal temperature changes are entirely predictable and should be anticipated through proper planning and preventive maintenance.
The recurring nature of these problems suggests a lack of proactive management and long-term planning. Rather than preparing in advance for foreseeable weather conditions, the company appears to operate reactively, addressing issues only after residents are already affected. This pattern reflects poor operational planning and raises concerns about the company's ability to manage the property effectively.

Avoid This Property Company at All Costs
Do not be fooled by their flashy renovations — this is one of the most negligent property companies I've ever encountered. The poor management and lack of responsibility are unbelievable. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.
