The apartment is clean and new and it is located in a very convenient place. It worth the price! The officer and manager are nice and always there for help. The only thing that I am a little worried about is the price of the garage, but everything else is fair. I feel like so lucky to rent here.

Pros:
1. The location is rather good - within walking distance from Daves, USPS, Home Depot, Marshalls, hospital satellites (Metrohealth and UH). The Police Department right in front of the building gives some added sense of security. Also nice to have the fire department and paramedics across the street (though their sirens disturb rest/sleep).
2. Rent is quite affordable compared to similar housing complexes.
3. There is ample outdoor parking. However during winter there might be some... challenge getting spots outside because the snow removal does not extend to the overflow garage. Limited spots for garage and the price was recently raised to $75/month.
4. The indoor heating system works very well during the winter season.
Cons:
1. The building and amenities are somewhat old.
a. Laundry/drying machines are weak, good for only small to moderate loads. So it’s either you use more than one machine at a time ($$) for larger loads, or just visit a commercial laundromat.
b. Cooling system: My AC makes a lot of noise without cooling despite using blinds and thermal curtains. Worse still, it jacks up the electricity bill which definitely is not good value for my money. The maintenance team has looked at it many times, yet my apartment temperature is unbearable (up to 90F this summer).
2. The gym is rather small for the size of the building/occupants. As at the time of this review one of the elliptical machines which broke down two months ago has still not been fixed.
3. I have been a tenant here for one year and seen five different office staff in this period. Not sure if this is the usual turnover rate for apartment complexes. The current property manager (Donna) is uncouth. I have seen her argue with tenants without attempting to de-escalate; she has terrible customer service/problem solving skills, seems to take more pride in her position than in adroitly addressing tenants’ concerns quickly and efficiently. This attitude of hers reflects very poorly on The Concord Apartments/Millennial Management and can affect profit margin when residents decide to take their business elsewhere.

This is probably one of the better options available. The building is continuously being renovated, you move in to a cleaned and refurbished apartment, resident complaints are handled rather quickly, and the building manager is very nice. My apartment is on the 9th floor, so I get an amazing view. They take care of your heating and garbage disposal, so that's a plus. Snow is not a problem since they clean the building entrance, but an indoor garage spot is $65 which I think is pricey. The units... are well-spaced with good closet space (unless you're a hoarder, in which case you'll never have enough closet space), and you get an extra storage space in the laundry room (2 washers and 2 dryers per floor, about 24 units). Cross Mayfield to get to the bus stop (a 3-minute walk from the building) and walk inside the circle for Dave's, Home Depot, Marshall's, Best Cuts, Radio Shack, and a bunch of other places. Overall one of the best options if you've just come in to Cleveland and have no idea what is where. The place is pet-friendly and senior-friendly. It's never cold inside in winter. If you're moving in, they will reserve the service elevator for your furniture. Oh and you get $100 off if you're an employee at some of the major institutions and $100 off if any of your referrals signs a 1-year lease.
