I have lived here for 2 years, and I do not foresee myself leaving anytime soon. The atmosphere of the building and location is amazing. I get to live right in the hustle and bustle of downtown, but this all is blocked out while I’m in my apartment. The apartment is quiet and provides me privacy while allowing me to walk outside into one of the foremost urban centers in the country. The apartment is luxurious and the management is customer-service oriented. I would plain and simply recommend... these apartments to anybody seeking to augment their life. The few who did not like it here probably have issues with themselves, their dealers, their families, spouses, and employers too. Nevertheless, the establishment is great.

The apartment I lived in was clean, updated, and quiet. The management worked tirelessly to address all of my concerns. Though security may seem like a concern, the management provides several layers of protections, making these apartments feel very very safe. Everything about the building and my apartment were splendid, even the temperature. At my old apartment I’d always wake up sweating, but Schofield features some of the best climate units on the market. Needless to say, I was more than... satisfied with my time here.

These apartments were horrible, AC units that never worked, smoke (both types) circulating throughout both apartments, and worst of all poor security.
The management is well aware of the AC issues but they refuse to address it. After multiple attempts they finally stopped trying to assist. The units stop operating in the middle of the night and you wake up hot. If you decide to sign here be sure to have a clause added to your contract allowing you to get out of the contract if it’s not working... .
Security is probably the worst part of the this place. A homeless man broke into the apartments and exposed himself. It took over 2 months for management to update security at all. Additionally, management had a photo of the person but did not share it with the residents because they “didn’t want to alarm anyone.” The homeless man was known to hang around the apartment per local police.
The management does not provide a private security guard circulating the building while many other buildings do provide this. If you decide to lease here make sure that they add private security first.

We sold our large Shaker home and decided to try something different...downtown living. The Schofield fits our desire for compact, efficient living without sacrificing comfort, beauty or safety. Management made it easy, allowing multiple moves in and out, while deciding the furnishings necessary for our new life style. The desk staff and valets are excellent, responding to all requests with prompt, courteous service. With Parker's in the building and Heinen's across the street, we are never... without delicious choices for dining. Thank goodness for the walkability of the city streets! The nearly floor to ceiling windows are the art that create an exciting vibe when entering our apartment. We love our new home and the convenience of downtown living.

My husband and I have lived at The Schofield for almost two years now. We’ve really enjoyed our time here, from the welcome basket we got on move in day, to the ease of moving out. It’s downtown living without all the hassle you get at other big apartment complexes. We loved the safety and security and also the wine hour :). We’re going to miss it!!!

Property Manager at The Schofield Residences responded to this review
Issues as stated were all addressed in a timely fashion. Tenant was impossible to please and therefore his lease was terminated.
